Software selection

A clearer workspace evaluation for state legislative teams.

Use a structured software evaluation to distinguish a useful workspace from an unsupported jurisdictional promise. Administrative coordination, data permissions and filing obligations need separate evidence.

Start with the administrative work

  1. List required reporting outputs and identify the responsible human reviewer. Do not assume that a generic reporting chart is a legally sufficient report.
  2. Ask for a documented import and export workflow, including how field names and source identifiers survive a transfer.
  3. Test role handoffs with fictional records and retain an evaluation log of what was actually demonstrated.

Questions to take into a software evaluation

  • Which jurisdiction-specific services, if any, are contractually supported?
  • How do staff distinguish sample metrics from authoritative records?
  • Who owns setup, training and data reconciliation?

Try a small, honest example

Explore a related fictional workflow, then write down which interactions you could actually complete. Ask for evidence of anything that remains untested.

This website is not a filing service and does not provide legal advice. Jurisdictional requirements and production capabilities need independent confirmation. The demo contains no real campaign data.
